Do you have reception ?

  • We offer reception-less check-in. This means no waiting in line, no paperwork — just arrive, settle in, and enjoy.
  • There’s a reception phone number in your chalet that you can call us on, and an after-hours mobile number.
  • You can also email us anytime at booking@harveyhillsfarmstay.com.au, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible during business hours.
  • We live in  the main house next to the chalets, you’ll often spot us out and about on the property during the day — don’t be shy, say hello!

Can I bring my pet?

  • No, unfortunately we currently don’t allow pets.

Can we collect our own eggs for breakfast?

  • When the chickens are laying, absolutely! However, we cannot guarantee when and how much the chickens will lay, so it’s best to bring your own eggs too.

Do you have WIFI?

  • Yes, we provide free access to our Wi-Fi in all our chalets.
  • Password for Wi-Fi is on the back of the front door.

Do you have heating and cooling?

  • Yes, each chalet has a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in each.

What time is check-in and check-out?

  • Check-in: from 2pm
  • Check-out: by 10am

Why is there a credit card surcharge?

  • Our booking system processes debit and credit cards the same way, it is a safe and secure way of payment, both incur a small merchant processing fee of 1.8%. This fee is set by the payment processor and calculated as a percentage of the total stay amount.

Can I cook in my chalet ?

  • Chalets have a kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, crockery and glassware. Perfect if you want to cook up a feast with local produce.
  • Every chalet has its own BBQ on the balcony, so you can sizzle and soak up the views at the same time.

What’s included when I arrive?

  • A large bucket or carrots to feed the animals
  • Fresh linen, towels, blankets and pillows, tea towel, cloth, scourer & dishwashing liquid
  • Tea, coffee & sugar sachets
  • Guest amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner)
  • BBQ facilities with utensils (don’t forget to clean them after use)
  • Linen is not available for cots

Can we have a campfire?

  • Yes, during permitted times of year. We have a fire pit available during the winter months, but from 1st of November to 15th of May outdoor fires are not permitted. Depending on weather these dates may be extended by local government.
  • Under the sink in your chalet, you will find firelighters.

Do you have cots and highchairs?

  • Each chalet has a cot and high chair in them
  • You will need to bring your own linen and blankets for the cot.

Do you have facilities for caravans or tents?

  • Unfortunately we are not licensed to have caravans or tents on our property. You may wish to stay at a local caravan park.

Do the chalets have washing machines?

  • We Currently do not have washing facilities, but Harvey Laundrette provides essential laundry services at Shop 5/94 Uduc Road, operating from 6am to 9pm seven days a week

What do we do for meals?

  • Usually, guests bring groceries to prepare their own meals. If you want to purchase groceries, Harvey town centre is only a ten minute away and has two IGA shops.

Payment Terms

  • Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of Harvey Hills Farmstay Chalets Terms and Conditions
  • 50% Deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
  • Full Payment is required 14 days before arrival; balance of payment will be automatically deducted from the card you used to pay your deposit.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard,1.8% surcharge +30c merchant fee applicable.
  • Full terms and conditions are accepted at time of booking. Any damage loss or expense incurred by Management because of your breach of these Terms and Conditions will be charged against the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra Guests beyond those declared.

Cancellations

  • Bookings cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded back to the original card used to make booking, minus the applicable admin charge to cover administration fees and processing charges ( $50 admin charge).
  • Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival; deposit is not refundable.
  • No arrivals are subject to the full tariff charge.

Check-in

  • Harvey Hills Farmstay Chalets is reception-less, arrival instructions will be sent via email two days before your check in date.
  • Check in is any time after 2pm
  • Check out is any time before 10am

Standard Conditions

  • Pets are not permitted
  • The cabins are a non-smoking environment
  • No disturbance of neighbours, no undue noise, noise limits of 10pm, no behaviour likely to damage the property or offence or embarrassment to others. Persons displaying drunkenness, offensive, aggressive or threatening behaviour and excess noise will be removed from the property. Harvey Hills Farmstay Chalets must be notified for additional guests beyond those declared.
